The project took place in 2008.
The project which was realized with the support of the Global Compact Network and cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture, involved the training of year 5 students of the Şht. Ertuğrul Primary School and Dr. Fazıl Küçük Primary School in Nicosia, the Alsancak Primary School in Kyrenia, the Lefke Primary School in Lefke and the Karakol primary school in Famagusta on reducing water and energy consumption.
In addition through the project environmentally friendly devices were placed on taps and toilets in schools.
