WINPEACE (Women’s Initiative for Peace) is a women’s network composed of peace activists from Greece, Turkey and across Cyprus. ALongside the annual women’s meetings, another annual activity of WINPEACE is the annual summer camp that takes place with youths from all communities from Turkey, Greece and Cyprus under the theme of ‘Culture of Peace’. KAYAD has been an active member of WINPEACE since 1999.
The camps form a network of youths across the region who advocate for the promotion of human rights, equality, multiculturalism, diversity, gender equality and peace culture.
The camps take place in each host country/area on a rotational basis.
